Our Beef

Taste, Tenderness, Marbling, and Ethically Raised. These are four characteristics that we at Mid Missouri Beef strive for. By raising the beef from start to finish (life cycle is 17-24 months of age), we are able to control all aspects except for mother nature. By focusing on genetic selection, nutrition, low stress handling practices, health and wellness we are able to create a product that the customer desires.

All of our cows are on pasture to consume the forage that the land produces. They are supplemented with feedstuffs that are sourced from our local feed mill. By carefully developing rations and adjusting it throughout the cattles life cycle, it will help keep the cattle healthy and able to produce powerful protein.

We process all of our beef at a local USDA inspected facility to ensure that the beef is safe for the consumer. The beef is dry aged for 14 days to get the best flavor and tenderness of the meat, creating a great end product is what we are after for the consumer. The consumer is what keeps us doing what we do and without you we could not continue our beef production.
